Yerevan, December 26 /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated that the authors of the recent speculations in the currency market will be brought to account.

As Mediamax was told in the presidential press service, Robert Kocharian said this on December 25 during his meeting with the Armenian businessmen, commenting on the quick fluctuations of the national currency rate to the dollar, which lasted for a few days.

Armenian President noted that the corresponding examinations have been carried out and “soon it will become clear who the authors of the speculation were”.

During the meeting, Robert Kocharian stated the growth of volumes of mortgage crediting in Armenia, noting the decrease of interest rates and the increase of repayment terms. According to the President, the fact considerably revived the real estate market.
