A business forum focusing on investment will take place in Artsakh this autumn, Business Armenia CEO Armen Avak Avakian said during his visit to the country.

Artsakh State Minister Grigori Martirosyan thanked Business Armenia for the support it provided to the exporting companies of Artsakh and highlighted the importance of strengthening the cooperation between local business people and the foundation.  

Martirosyan also noted that new projects aimed at boosting pomegranate production had been launched in Artsakh and suggested searching for new export markets.

Business Armenia and the Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures of Artsakh signed a memorandum of understanding, which is the basis for a new stage of collaboration.

“We are excited with your work. I am well-aware that you are not indifferent to the problems in Artsakh and I am happy to see your willingness to help us and implement joint projects,” said Levon Grigoryan, Minister of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures.

“We suggest Artsakh businesses to partake in international expos. We are rather successful in the area. Unfortunately, we have never operated in the investment field of Artsakh, but we are willing to apply our skillset and support local businesses,” said Armen Avak Avakian.
