Yerevan, July 19 /Mediamax/. According to the results of the first half of 2007, the volume of individual deposits of “Unibank” CJSC made 17,5bln drams ($51.3mln), twice exceeding the analogous index of 2006.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the bank, ““Unibank” consolidated the leading positions in the given segment of the market, and occupied the fist place as to the volume of individual deposits among the Armenian banks”.

“The growth of deposits is mainly conditioned by implementation of new deposit products and strengthening of confidence of the population for the bank”, the press service of “Unibank” stated.

In the total volume of individual term deposits of “Unibank” about 45% falls on the share of dram deposits.
