Converse Bank has launched USSD service that enables the customers to make use of some banking services quickly, without visiting or calling the bank.

Internet access is not required for the service.

“USSD service is easy and customers do not need additional abilities for using it. It enables Converse Bank cardholders to obtain timely information on the balance of the card, get a statement for the latest 4 to 5 transactions made with the card and block the card at any time of the day. To make use of the service, you simply need to send the command *116# from your mobile phone and follow the instructions,” the statement reads.

Maximum 5 cards of ArCa system member banks with activated USSD service can be attached to one phone number.

Mobile operators will charge no additional fee from cardholders for this service.

“Currently this service of Converse Bank is available for subscribers of Beeline and VivaCell-MTS mobile operators of Armenia. Measures are being taken to introduce such service for customers of other operators as well,” the bank noted.
