The delegation of President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev visited Yerevan Brandy Company within the frames of their state visit to Armenia.The delegation visited ARARAT Museum of Yerevan Brandy Company, where the members were introduced to the rich history and production process of ARARAT Armenian legendary brandy. President Radev stopped at the Peace Barrel, founded in 2001 in honor of the co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group, who visited the factory in 2001. The barrel is filled with the brandy spirit of 1994. This year symbolizes the time when the ceasefire agreement was signed. The barrel is called “Peace” as it will be opened when Karabakh conflict is resolved. Rumen Radev also signed in ARARAT memory book. Bulgarian President visited the Treasury of Yerevan Brandy Company, where a unique collection of ARARAT brandies is kept - from the very first samples of the previous century up to our days. A special barrel was founded in the honor of Rumen Radev.The special barrel offered to the previous President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov during his visit in 2004 is also kept at YBC. ARARAT brandy is produced by Yerevan Brandy Company using traditional technology, the foundations of which were laid in 1887 by Nerses and Vasily Tairyants brothers. ARARAT brandy is created using local endemic high-quality Armenian grapes and crystal clear spring water.
