Yerevan, June 12 /Mediamax/. Armenian “Aviainfotel” IT-Company and the State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) presented in Yerevan today the joint laboratory for training personnel and testing products and information technologies. Mediamax reports that the joint laboratory is established on the basis of the SEUA Department of Computer Systems and Information Science. The Chief Constructor of “Aviainfotel” Samvel Muradian stated today that the laboratory mainly aims at preparing highly qualified personnel for the all interested departments and organizations, where new systems are being implemented. According to Muradian, the considerable expenditures for establishing the laboratory, carried out by a small company, such as “Aviainfotel” are justified, as they are to solve issues of organizing the overall production process. Samvel Muradian expressed hope that the laboratory will assist in training personnel for such interested organizations and departments, as the National Security Service, the State Cadastre, the International “Zvartnots” Airport and others. The Head of the Program on Issue of International Crime of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia William Douglas highly assessed the information developments of “Aviainfotel”, directed, in particular, to protect the Armenian borders and assist the fight with international terrorism. Touching upon the prospective tasks of the established laboratory, William Douglas stressed that it will be assisting the increase of knowledge of students and training of professional personnel.
