With support of the Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA), five Armenian jewelry companies received export orders worth USD 1.2 million (around AMD 580m) from the Junwex Moscow international Fair.The foundation informed that the Armenian companies concluded 5 export contracts mainly with Russian wholesale buyers at the fair, and 16 more contracts are under negotiations. Non-professional visitors of Junwex purchased jewelry worth USD 34 000 from Armenian producers.“The Arab market is also a target for us, so we are planning to attend the VOD DubaiInternational Jewelry Show with a joint pavilion. For that purpose, we already met and negotiated with show organizers on better conditions for our producers,” noted the Head of DFA Event Management team Markus Azadian.DFA team also met with Head of the Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) Gagik Gevorkyan, who expressed readiness to contribute to promotion of Armenian jewelry in the global market.
