CEO of the Development Foundation of Armenia Armen Avak Avakian expressed Armenia’s readiness to become an important platform for U.S. businessmen in entering markets of Iran and EAEU.  

He said this yesterday at the round table-discussion of business leaders in Los Angeles, initiated by Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles.

“We have that fire and energy to play our role as an access to those huge economies. The readiness to high level support from our side for foreign investments that target these big economies is a vital part of top governmental and DFA strategy,” noted CEO of the Development Foundation of Armenia Armen Avak Avakian.

Armen Avak Avakian introduced the partners to Armenia’s investment opportunities and discussed a number of investment projects, emphasizing the foundation’s helps in post-investment stage as well.

“Nation of Innovation” illustration of Armenia’s achievements and opportunities in IT sector was also presented during the event.

Head of the Investment Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Lalayan introduced the terms of doing business in Armenia and favorable trade regimes with EU and EAEU countries.
