Ambassador of France to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier said today that latest continuous interest of a number of French companies in the Armenian market is partially conditioned by the Armenian government’s new policies.

“Quite large French companies are currently seeking opportunities for investing in Armenia, which is partially based on statements by Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan’s government on adopting more transparent working style,” French Ambassador told journalists.

According to Jean-Francois Charpentier, “The statements by the Armenian government create an atmosphere of trust for future investments, so we will be waiting for the results of this new policy.”

Ambassador Charpentier emphasized that Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union also contributed to growing interest of French companies in the Armenian market.
