Yerevan, April 5 /Mediamax/. As of January 1 of 2007, 15 Armenian banks were included in the list of 1000 CIS banks, according to the volume of assets.

Mediamax reports that the list of 1000 banks of CIS as to the volume of assets was composed by the “Interfax-CEA” Agency.

“HSBC Bank Armenia” occupied the 297th place in the list, assets - $194,1mln.

Then come:

“Ardshininvestbank” occupied the 301st place, assets - $190,2mln;
“ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank” – 375th place, assets - $145,2mln;
“VTB-Armenia Bank” – 404th place, assets - $125,6mln;
“Armeconombank” – 416th place, assets - $120,9mln;
“Converse Bank” – 471st place, assets - $97,8mln;
“Unibank” – 514th place, assets - $85,2mln;
“Anelik Bank” – 531st place, assets - $81,4mln;
“Areximbank” – 799th place, $37,6mln;
“Armswissbank” – 922nd place, assets - $26,9mln;
“BTA-Invest Bank” – 930th place, assets - $20,626,3mln;
“Mellat Bank” – 934th place, assets - $25,7mln;
“Armenian Development Bank” – 938th place, assets - $25,5mln;
“Prometey Bank” – 958th place, assets - $23,5mln;
“Armimpexbank” – 964th place, assets - $21,8mln.
