On March 16-17, 2017 Anelik Bank participated in the “Belarus: Trade Finance - 2017” annual international conference held in Minsk under the auspices of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Trade Facilitation Program.

Around 100 representatives of the banking sector and investment companies from around the world participated in the event to discuss current challenges in the sphere of trade finance, the latest trends in the field of documentary operations, as well as the opportunities and development perspectives of attraction of alternative sources of long-term financing.      
     
Innesa Amirbekyan, Head of International Documentary Business and Trade Finance of Anelik Bank, presented the report on “Trade Finance: Challenges and Perspectives in the Armenian Market”. In her speech, she stated: “The trade finance instruments significantly reduce production costs which allows the local manufacturer to form more competitive prices in the market. Anelik Bank is willing to assist Armenia’s importing and exporting companies with such instruments, ready to provide them with professional advice at any time”.

In the frames of the conference, Innesa Amirbekyan was awarded with the «EBRD TFP Trade Expert» prize by EBRD for taking part in “Trade Finance Clinic” annual international contest organized by EBRD’s “Trade Exchange” magazine.

It is worth mentioning that Innesa Amirbekyan has been previously twice awarded with «TFP Gold Award» and once with “TFP Professional” prizes by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
