Mediamax News Agency remains adherent to its policy on constantly improving the quality of work of the www.banks.am portal and implementing new services. Today, we are happy to inform about three technical and creative innovations at once.

1. Starting from March 17, the hosting conditions of www.banks.am are considerably improved. This is especially important for the visitors from outside Armenia.

2. Starting from today, the “Discussion Club” section is presented on the website. It is worked out at the assistance of the Armenian Central Bank. The aim of the section is to stimulate a dialogue between the banking sphere professionals. At the beginning of each month, the Central Bank representatives will be presenting articles on the more urgent issues, inviting the representatives of the commercial banks, credit, insurance companies, and other relevant structures to a dialogue. Then, during the next 3 weeks the representatives of the above-mentioned organizations will be presenting their responses to the stance of the Central Bank. We believe that the given format will assist the formation of traditions of a civilized dialogue. Today, in the “Discussion Club” the article of the Head of the Financial System Policy and Analysis Department of the Central Bank of Armenia David Sarkisian is presented, which focuses on the protection of the interests of the consumers in the financial sphere.

3. Starting from today, the “Account Opening” table is placed in www.banks.am, which will allow the visitors in a few minutes getting acquainted to the conditions of opening and maintenance of accounts in the banks, to prepare all the necessary documents, etc.
