Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Matthias Kiesler said today that growth was registered this year in trade and economic cooperation between Germany and Armenia. “We attach importance to the economic relations between the two countries, which is evidenced by the Protocol on Intergovernmental Negotiations, just signed at Armenian Ministry of Finance,” Matthias Kiesler told journalists. The Ambassador informed that Germany allocated €54.4 mln to Armenia in 2016 and additional €22 mln for implementation of regional projects. Matthias Kiesler emphasized that to activate Armenian-German economic relations, German businessmen are encouraged to view Armenia not only from the point of trade and investments, but from the point of industry and IT. “Armenia is in good relations with Iran and is a member of Eurasian Economic Union. These are additional attractive factors for foreign investments,” German Ambassador said. Madiamax’s exclusive interview with Matthias Kiesler is available here. Tweet Views 8200
