The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will nominate Karen Karapetyan for the position of Prime Minister of Armenia.

Member of the party, Chairman of Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of Armenian National Assembly Artak Zakaryan stated this after the session of the party’s Council.

He informed that the agenda of the session contained only one issue - the nomination of Karen Karapetyan.

Artak Zakaryan also said that RPA leader, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan delivered a speech at the session, which will be released later.
