It is about two years that Kamurj Universal Credit Organization has been supporting the border communities in Armenia, providing their residents nearly all types of company’s loans with substantially low statutory price.

The company noted that nearly all types of company’s loans are provided without disbursement charge and servicing fee and with the interest rate reduced for 30 border rural communities of Tavush and Vayots Dzor regions.

“Being socially responsible organization, Kamurj UCO always has issues aimed at improving the socio-economic situation of vulnerable groups. The population in the border communities of Armenia is one of the most important guarantees for the security of our borders, and we all do our best to be a support to them,” noted Chairman of Kamurj UCO Ara Aghayan.

According to him, the decision was made in August 2014 to provide loans for border rural communities without disbursement charge and servicing fee and with the interest rate reduced.

“This decision of ours was met with great response among the residents of these communities. Summing up the results of these 2 years, we can mention that we have provided more than 1.2 milliard AMD loan to around 2000 borrowers,” Ara Aghayan added.

He informed that hereafter they will continue initiating steps to assist people from border communities in their community development.
