Unicum Engineering will operate in the field of electronics and precision engineering in free economic zone Alliance’s “RAO Mars”.

Armenian government has given operating permission to the company in today’s session.

Unicum Engineering plans to conduct military night vision devices and infrared imager production in the free economic zone.

According to Armenian Minister of Economy Artsvik Minasyan, 1000 devices are expected to be produced and exported during the first year of the program. The number is expected to reach 5500 in the future. The main export destination will be Russia.

“It is expected that export indicators will be USD 5mln during the second year of the production (2017) and during the fifth year it will be around USD 12 mln”, said the Minister.

The investment within the program (5 years) will be around USD 31 mln. 10 new vacancies will be created during the first year with average of AMD150 000 salary and 35 vacancies will be created during the fifth year with average of AMD350 000 salary.
