“History in a Glass: Rediscovering Armenian Wine” event took place at S. Dillon Ripley Center of Smithsonian Institution in Washington last week.Manager of Karas project and Founder of Semina Consulting Vahe Keushguerian presented the millennia history of Armenian winemaking, spoke about the characteristics of Armenian grape and wine.Vahe Keushguerian presented Keush, Karas, Kataro, Trinity, Old Bridge, Koor and Van Ardi wines that are currently produced in Armenia and the guests had the opportunity to taste the wines.It is planned to organize Armenian wine presentations in Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles soon.Last week Armenian wine presentation-tasting was organized also at the Embassy of Armenia in Washington D.C..Smithsonian Institution was founded in 1846 and includes museums, galleries and research facilities.
