According to the Ministry of Economics, Minister of Economy of Armenia Artsvik Minasyan said the Ministry must work “open, transparent and public, without hiding the difficulties facing”, in the first plenary meeting on March 9.He pointed out that strict antimonopoly policy will be utilized against the rigid system of organizations.The Minister presented his vision of attracting new foreign investment, finding new markets for goods and services produced in Armenia and directions of increasing expenditure of budgetary funds and other issues.Artsvik Minasyan gave particular instructions to heads of relevant departments and agencies.Specifically:-Together with you we will discuss the process of implementation of the assignments, raise the existing problems in the sphere, will listen to reports on the achievements, in order to be aware of the current situation and most importantly, we must work open, transparent and public, without hiding the difficulties facing ,- said Artsvik Minasyan.The following items were at the specific instructions of the Minister;- Diagnose the causes of short-term and long-term problems of competing with importing and exporting companies and solve them through development of the existing tools or creation of the new ones. - Carry out fundamental changes in a number of directions, including the postponements of VAT during imports in order to any privilege to be grounded and domestic production not to be impaired, moreover, have a chance to be developed. - Under the new constitutional realities, to review the all legislation related to the equal conditions for competition. -Intensify the public-private partnership. Artsvik Minasyan presented the principles of the human resources policy of the Ministry, noting that he will be guided by 3 fundamental approaches: professionalism, responsibility and patriotism.
