Yerevan, December 20 /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January-November 2006 totaled 13,2% as compared to the same period last year.

As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January-November 2006 totaled 2293933.5mln drams.

The volume of industrial production in the republic in January- November 2006 stood at 579333.7mln drams, having decreased by 1,2% as compared to the same period 2005.

The average monthly salary in Armenia in January- November 2006 increased by 22,7% as compared to the same period last year, thus making 62413 drams. The salary of budget organizations has increased by 25,5%, making 43957 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 76007 drams (growth - 20,2%).

The foreign trade turnover of Armenia in January- November 2006 totaled 1186.58bln drams or $2847.9mln, having increased by 13,6% as compared to the same period 2005.

As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the export volume during the accounting period made 372.44bln drams or $895mln, and the import volume totaled 814.14bln drams or $1952.9mln.

The deficit of the foreign trade balance in January- November 2006 stood at 441.7bln drams or $1057.9mln.
