Yerevan, December 5 /Mediamax/. As of the first six months of 2006, 17 Armenian banks were included in the list of 1000 CIS banks according to the volume of the assets.

Mediamax reports that the list of 1000 CIS banks according to the volume of assets was composed by the “Interfax-CEA” Agency.

“Ardshininvestbank” occupied the 327th position in the list (assets - $131,7mln). The next ones are:

“VTB-Armenia Bank” – 369th place, assets - $110,5mln;
“Converse Bank” – 463rd place, assets - $77,5mln;
“Artsakhbank” – 516th place, assets - $65,4mln;
“Unibank” – 519th place, assets - $65mln;
“Bank Anelik” – 538th place, assets - $61,3mln;
“Inecobank” – 613th place, assets - $46,8mln;
“Areximbank” – 720th place, assets - $ 33,5mln;
“Armimpexbank” – 771st place, assets - $27,7mln;
“Armbusinessbank” – 794th place, assets - $25.9mln;
“Armswissbank” – 797th place, assets - $25,7mln;
“Mellat Bank” – 840th place, assets - $21,8mln;
“BTA Investbank” – 856th place, assets - $20,6mln;
“Armenian Development Bank” – 863rd place, assets - $20,2mln;
“Prometey Bank”- 895th place, assets - $18,1mln;
