Ball of Robots exhibition will take place in Yerevan Mall on December 9 and it will last until January 10 (except December 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016).

The project is presented by Robots Inc. (Russia) and is directly initiated by Ameriabank.

The bank mentioned that the exhibition will be the first in the region.

The first Ball of Robots was held in Moscow in 2014 to become the most successful ever exhibition project in Russia.
The subsequent country tour had breathtaking success in Sochi, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Minsk and Yekaterinburg alike.

 “This unique event organized in Yerevan will introduce you to the latest developments of engineering through interacting with robots from all over the world, some of which perfectly incorporate the latest trends in robotics, artificial intelligence and robot teaching systems. One of the major goals of this project is teaching, special attention is paid to it at all levels from selection of robots to accompanying activities and excursions. Visitors will get to interact personally with each robot, play with them, have fun with them and take photos”, Ameriabank statement reads.

The exhibition will feature over 20 interactive robots from various countries and the best of Armenian robotics.

Other entertainments include the dancing robot show, quadcopter zone, robolab, Lego brainstorming/robot building sessions, robot programming and robomarket.

Among the robots will be the celebrated RoboThespian, robot Paro from Japan and Baxter from the US.

Special discount rates are offered for children: AMD 2200 on weekdays and AMD 3300 on weekends. Adult tickets will cost AMD 2900 and AMD 3900 respectively. Special rates for group school tours are also available.  

Major partners of the Ball of Robots are Yerevan Mall and Yerevan Production, while “Ingo Armenia” ICJSC provides insurance for robots.
