Yerevan, November 28 /Mediamax/. The Private Banking services gradually become more popular in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that today the Private Banking functions in 8 Armenian commercial banks (all in all there are 21 banks in Armenia).

In “Ardshininvestbank” the Private Banking system is implemented in the main office and serves about 80 customers. In the “Armenian Development Bank” the Private Banking system serves 11 large corporate customers. At the same time, the elements of Private Banking services are used in the work of the “Armenian Development Bank” with a hundred customers: financial consulting, operation with securities of the customers, the placement of the funds of the customer and etc.

In the “Anelik Bank” 50 customers are served by the Private Banking system. In “Converse Bank” the number of customers of Private Banking makes 10, and in “BTA-Invest Bank” – 5.

The Private Banking system is also implemented in “Inecobank” and “Unibank”.

For “Armswissbank” the Private Banking is not just a system. “Our system is based on the very Private Banking philosophy”, they stated.

However, the banking specialists say that there is no Private Banking in Armenia is the classic interpretation of the word. Besides the special approach to the VIP-customers, the Private Banking system generally also means providing the customer with a personal banking manager, who manages the assets of the customer. There is no implementation of the above-mentioned service in Armenia yet.
