Yerevan, November 7 /Mediamax/. The President of the “Mika Limited” Company Mikhail Bagdasarov continues the talks on selling the 30% shares of the “VTB-Armenia Bank”, belonging to him. Mikhail Bagdasarov stated today that he holds negotiations with the Russian VTB Group and the Armenian SIL Concern, Mediamax reports. According to the businessman, he will choose the very buyer, who offers the highest price. Mikhail Bagdasarov again stated that the decision to sell the shares was reasoned by the discord with the policy of the “VTB-Armenia Bank” leadership. In particular, the President of the “Mika Limited” stated, the leadership intended to close 40 branches in the regions of Armenia, which was unacceptable for him. Mediamax recalls that the Chief Vice-President of the VTB Group Vasili Titov stated in Yerevan on October 27 that the Group is interested in purchasing the 30% shares of the “VTB-Armenia Bank”. He noted that VTB is considering the offer of purchase of the shares; however, the final decision will depend on the price of the package.
