In 2014, HSBC invested around AMD40mln in 26 charitable education projects in Armenia. The press service of HSBC Armenia reports that the investments have been made as a result of cooperation with TUMO Centre for Creative Technologies, Meghvik NGO, FPWC, CNF, JAA and others. “In Armenia, HSBC annually invests around AMD50mln in charities to support education and environmental projects. We focus on making innovative and high quality education accessible for children at risk”, the press release notes.In 2014 HSBC Armenia donated around AMD7mln to environmental efficiency programmes with main focus on water conservation and climate change.It should be noted that to mark the 150th anniversary HSBC made a USD150mln fund available to community projects and local charities over 2015-2017.
