Former President of the Union of Armenian Banks (UAB) Ararat Ghukasian is included in the Board of Unibank.

According to the official website of Unibank, by the decision of the special general meeting of Unibank OJSC shareholder a change was made in the bank’s Board on July 31.

According to the decision, the powers of Member of the Board of Directors Suren Hayiryan were terminated early at his own request.

Gagik Zakaryan was confirmed as the President of the bank’s Board. Besides Ararat Ghukasian, Georgi Piskov, Eduard Zamanyan and Hrahat Arzumanyan were also appointed Members of Unibank’s Board.

Over the years, Ararat Ghukasian held various executive positions at Converse Bank, HSBC Bank Armenia and Byblos Bank. He was the President of the Union of Armenian Banks (UAB) from 2009-2011.
