Yerevan, October 20 /Mediamax/. 17826 cars have been imported to Armenia during 9 months of 2006, Tigran Kirakosian, the Head of the specialized customs office for registration of vehicles of the State Customs Committee said today.

Mediamax reports that the customs deductions for the imported cars made 12bln 941mln AMD.

13998 vehicles have been imported in the republic during nine months of 2005, and the customs inpayments made 9bln 424mln AMD.

Tigran Kirakosian noted that growth of import is registered as to cars with the price of $5-10 thousands. During 9 months of 2006, the number of such cars made 5244.
