Businessman and philanthropist, co-founder of RVVZ and IDeA Foundations Ruben Vardanyan said that “without vision and dedication no business can survive”.

The businessman said this at the thematic discussion on “The (R)evolutionary Road: Company Stories Made Real’’ held within annual meeting of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and business forum in Tbilisi on May 13-15.

“Of course, finance is important, but it is not everything”, said Ruben Vardanyan.

Touching upon secrets of entrepreneurship, he particularly said: “When it is your own business you always need to be on top of things and take initiative because no one else will care about your business as much as you do”.

He advised young entrepreneurs not to be afraid of failures.

“The core skills for modern day entrepreneurs are: don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone, don’t be afraid to fail and start again, don’t be afraid to deal with things you don’t know anything about because by the time you get all the information it will be too late”, said Ruben Vardanyan.

It should be noted that the delegation of Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation participating in the EBRD conference comprised Foundation CEO Armen Gevorgyan and Deputy CEO Sergey Tantushyan.
