Yerevan, September 20 /Mediamax/. The foreign trade turnover of Armenia in January- August 2006 totaled 828.9bln drams or $1911.2mln, having increased by 11,5% as compared to the same period 2005.

As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the export volume during the accounting period made 258.0bln drams or $595.6mln, and the import volume totaled 570.9bln drams or $1315.6mln.

The deficit of the foreign trade balance in January- August 2006 stood at 312.9bln drams or $720mln. --0--
