Yerevan, September 14 /Mediamax/. On September 18, the Russian “System” Stock Financial Corporation will send its final request for the purchase of the 90% share of the Armenian “ArmenTel” mobile operator.

Mediamax reports that the General Director of the “Telecom System” CJSC Sergey Shebetov said about this. “Telecom System” CJSC manages the telecommunication companies, which are included in the “System” Stock Financial Corporation.

Commenting on the statements in the media that the “System” SFC intends to buy ArmenTel’s fixed business, and that the mobile business will be purchased by the VTEL Holdings и Knightsbridge Associates Consortium, Sergey Shebetov stated that the Russian Company is “interested in purchasing the integrated operator”.
