Artur Mkhitaryan who previously held the post of Member of the Board of Artsakhbank was appointed the Bank’s new CEO-Executive Board Chairman.

Prior to him, Kamo Nersisyan was the CEO-Executive Board Chairman.

Artur Mkhitaryan was born in Yerevan in 1973. In 1995, he graduated from the Faculty of Management and Economics of Architecture at Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction earning the qualification of en engineer-economist. From 1996 to 1998, he studied economics at the Faculty of General Economics at the Institute of Economic Research of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Armenia.

Artur Mkhitaryan has been working in the financial-banking system since 1995. During his 20-year work, he held various executive positions at Gladzor Bank, HSBC Bank Armenia and Converse Bank.

Artur Mkhitaryan started working at Artsakhbank on January 30, 2014 and held the post of the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board. During the past six months, he held the post of the Member of the Bank’s Board.

He is married and has three children.
