Yerevan /Mediamax/.   Construction works in the Amulsar mine will start in 2015.

Minister of Economy of Armenia Karen Chshmarityan said this today touching upon foreign investments expected to be made in Armenia.

“The project works are already launched, and the construction will start next year. 1200-1500 people will only work on construction”, said the Minister.

He noted that “according to preliminary data, the investment volume will make USD350-400mln which will ensure at least USD150-250mln annual export for Armenia in future”.

Touching upon the environmentalists’ concerns, the Minister said:

“The operating company has committed to address the environmental issues point by point using technologies and systems which won’t affect the nature”.
