Alex Kobelashvili, Operations Manager at the Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection Hotel, tells how they hosted 10,000 employees of the Georgian TBC Bank in fall 2022 at Alexander Chavchavadze’s dynastic estate. Almost half a year passed, but Alex’s memories are still fresh: he confesses that he could not sleep due to stress the nights before the event.

“It was like a special operation. Logistics alone was an issue. Some 150 buses were to arrive and we had to organize it in a way to avoid traffic jams and to ensure that everyone would get to the place on time,” Alex recalls.

The Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection hotel is the “pearl” of the Silk Hospitality, part of the Georgian Silk Road Group.

In 2007, George Ramishvili, the Silk Road Group founder and Yerkin Tatishev, his Kazakh partner, decided to give new life to the estate of the Georgian intellectual, poet and military figure Alexander Chavchavadze, located in the heart of Kakheti region, in the village of Tsinandali.

During these years, $60 million has been invested in the Tsinandali Estate, which includes the Alexander Chavchavadze house-museum, vineyards, winery, the Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection Hotel and the recently opened the Park Hotel.

The Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection hotel opened in 2018 and is the first five-star hotel in this region. It is managed by the Silk Hospitality, which has gained a great experience by managing Radisson Blu Iveria in Tbilisi and Radisson Blu Batumi in the resort town of Batumi.

The special pride of the Tsinandali Estate is the outdoor amphitheater and the large indoor hall. The first accommodates 1,200 people and the second 800. The Tsinandali Festival of classical music has been held here since 2019 with the participations of world famous musicians.

Apart from it, conferences, corporate events, weddings are often held in these halls. On the days of our visit, Alex Kobelashvili and his team were getting prepared to welcome foreign VIP-guests who had chosen the Tsinandali Estate for a birthday celebration party.

Tsinandali is only a 2-hour drive from Tbilisi, and the managers of the estate say they are ready to host Armenian guests for both private leisure and corporate events.

They also have an interesting offer for those who are considering options for purchasing real estate not far from Armenia.

The 25 villas sale program has been launched in the Tsinandali Estate. They will be built with a unified architectural design and will be located next to the vineyards and winery on the territory of the estate. Details are available here: https://tsinandaliestatevillas.com/

The Tsinandali Estate is unique for being available for young people, particularly students as well. Opened a few years ago, the Park Hotel offers affordable prices, while guests have access to all the infrastructure of the Tsinandali Estate: restaurants, two swimming pools, tennis courts, a huge historic garden.

The Silk Hospitality also has big projects in Tbilisi. Construction works have already launched in the telegraph office building located in the immediate vicinity of the Radisson Blu Iveria. Within two years a new hotel will open here, again under the Radisson brand.
