Swedish fintech startup Klarna, working with ‘buy now, pay later’ (BNPL) principle, grew to a $46 billion valuation and 100 million users, Inc. Russia writes citing Bloomberg.

After launching  Pay Now in the U.S. and U.K. last year, Klarna is now rolling out the service to 9 new countries – Australia, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Canada and New Zealand.

Klarna’s rewards program surpasses 4m members in the US and Australia. The members of the rewards program earn “points” for every payment they make on time with Klarna. The points can be redeemed in the Klarna App for rewards at world-class brands including H&M, Amazon, and Walmart. Members of the program also benefit from exclusive deals and gain early access to product drops from hand-picked merchants.

In addition, Klarna will be introducing a new feature called Missions. Missions are small, engaging tasks that consumers can complete to earn points, aimed at encouraging consumers to discover different features in the Klarna App. Pay Now service enables consumers to pay immediately and in full.
