Global Visa Everywhere Initiative open innovation program The Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI) invites payment and fintech startups to present their innovative products and solutions.

The finalists will have an opportunity to personally get acquainted with key figures of the financial sector, traders, representatives of venture funds and the public sector. The winners of the competition will receive monetary prizes and the opportunity to become partners of the world famous Visa brand.

Innovation fintech startups from Central Europe, Middle East, Africa (CEMEA), including fintech-startups from Armenia may submit applications for participation in the competition.

The participants will get access to Visa network and compete for $35 000 at CEMEA region final and $125 000 at global final.

This year the global competition has become bigger and will include startups based on crypto currency and Visa Direct – a payment solution that allows companies to transfer money in innovative ways to billions of endpoints around the world. Finalists from all over the world, already influencing the development of economies today, will meet in the VEI final in Qatar in November 2022.



“VEI network includes 8,500 startups from all over the world and continues to grow every year. Since its launch in 2015, the program helped startups in over 100 countries raise over $2,5 billion – solving one of the biggest problems beginner entrepreneurs face. Each year, VEI expands its area of activity to interact with promising startups and solve unique problems in the world of payments.

In 2022 the VEI program will focus on CEMEA – the region with huge opportunities for fintechs which develop innovative products and solutions aimed at supporting the public. This year the competition includes two new rounds in Egypt and Saudi Arabia as well as a global final in Qatar in November.VEI is waiting for innovative and ambitious companies seeking to facilitate money transactions and address topical payment issues the enterprises of all sizes and of different sectors face.
