Alfa-Bank has opened its first Phygital office in Moscow – an office based on the concept that combines digital and physical functions.

In Phygital offices, clients receive both warm human interaction and high-quality digital services.

Alfa-Bank’s press service has presented the novel functions and advantages of a Phygital office.

Biometrics

The office can identify the client by the face (if the client consented beforehand). Clients don’t need to look into the camera because the identification system will recognize them as soon as they enter the office and transfer to the staff member the relevant information: the given client’s name, which services of the bank they use, what issue brings them to the office, what might interest them. Face identification is 98% accurate.

Visit planning

Clients can check the capacity of the office and choose a preferred time to visit, and the staff will be expected the given client at that time.

No paper

All documents are signed and kept on the smartphone. Each Phygital office will save up to 10 tons of paper a year.

No cubicles and separate working zones

The staff and the clients can choose any spot in the office to converse and settle issues in a comfortable environment.


“Banks have drastically improved their digital channels in recent years, but the offices remain the same – they all even look the same. At that, every large bank has tried to open its own “office of the future”, but they all are just showrooms of banking innovations of sorts. We present how bank offices are going to look and work very soon. Two more new offices of Alfa-Bank will open in Moscow following this Phygital office, and as soon as this fall we will scale the gathered experience over our entire network nationwide,” said Alfa-Bank CEO Vladimir Verkhoshinskiy.
