VTB has introduced ATMs with video tellers, which make it possible for customers to receive online consultation from the contact center. The press service of the bank has announced that the technology will reduce the service time and cover over 90% of services, which are usually provided by managers in the offices.“The new ATMs fall within the VTM (video teller machine) category. They are equipped with additional screens and software for online video consultations with the bank’s staffers. The possibility of receiving almost all services in “one-window regime” substantially saves time for clients and resources for the bank,” the announcement reads. The new VTMs have been installed in two VTB offices in Moscow. Apart from video consultations, the VTMs have basic functions such as acceptance and withdrawal of cash, money transfer, change of PIN code, and balance or statement request. The range of the services will increase substantially after the testing period.“We are launching the VTMs as a pilot project. The plan is to expand their capacity with new services step by step throughout 2020. The technology will be especially in-demand in faraway sale points, because it enables clients to get the full range of banking services remotely. This is a key goal that we are moving to consistently in the framework of our strategy up until 2022,” said VTB Deputy Head of Sales Department, Senior Vice President Migel Markaryants. The partner of Fintech section is Tweet Views 19317
