Sberbank and SberCloud (the bank’s cloud platform) have presented the fastest Russian supercomputer, named Christofari after the first client of Russia’s savings bank, Nikolai Christofari.The Sberbank press center has announced that the supercomputer’s resources will be available for SberCloud clients. These resources will enable the users to develop and use AI algorithms as quickly and conveniently as possible.“The architecture and computing capacities of Christofari supercomputer allow completion of teaching operations for models, which are based on deep neural networks, in record time. Application of Christofari’s resources is going to increase the efficiency of operations in a wide range of areas, such as natural language processing, computer vision, automated decision-making, risk assessment and management, fraud exposure and development of voice assistants and chatbots among others,” the press center said. 08.04.2019 | 09:44 Tinkoff group creates supercomputer The supercomputer can be used by research, commercial and state agencies operating in different sectors of economy, such as oil and gas, banking, telecommunications, retail, chemistry, medicine, etc.“Businesses, the state and research organizations need the supercomputer’s high-efficiency computing capacities to work with AI algorithms. The cloud platform makes them available to companies regardless of their size, so a small startup can get the same huge computing capacities as a large corporation. The supercomputer was created by SberCloud in collaboration with NVIDIA (USA).
