Fintech is turning out to be lucrative for top executives: CEOs get compensation of USD 850,000 on average, says the recent Moorlands Human Capital report.According to Finextra.com, Moorlands surveyed 503 executives from 500 fintech firms in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. Among the 137 CEOs surveyed, the average base salary is USD 353,000, rising to USD 857,000 thanks to cash bonuses and retirement provisions.“Unsurprisingly for a tech-dominated industry, CTOs are also well remunerated, with an average base salary of USD 215,000 and average total compensation of USD 521,000,” reads the report. At the same time, CFOs make an average base salary of USD 158,000 and HR directors make an average base of $152,000. Executives in other departments record an USD 235,000 average. “We can see that customer acquisition is valued highly by fintech given the level of compensation paid to sales and marketing directors. It will be fascinating as the years go by to see if this phenomenon continues or if we see a harmonization of compensation across the C-suite,” said Paul Battye, owner of Moorlands Human Capital. The partner of Fintech section is Tweet Views 26858
