RTLabs (subsidiary of Rostelecom) and VisionLabs announced the beginning of elaboration of “Paperless bank” innovative biometric solution.

According to RTLabs press service, the solution will not only allow to collect biometric data of clients: physical entities and representatives of small business, as well as identify them, but also create a depository of control biometric templates of the bank’s employees for authorization of their access to information systems of given credit establishments and confirming their functions for accomplishment of operations.

The new service will operate parallel to Unified Biometrics System, which is aimed at remotely opening accounts, deposits and receiving loans.


“Paperless bank” will be incorporated in many operational procedures of banking organizations. For example, it will allow controlling the access of frontline and direct sales employees to software, as well as provide monitoring of their operations. The solution also offers identification of clients of the bank in various departments.
