On November 11, a new MAN Truck & Bus service center was inaugurated in Yerevan, combining European quality, safety, and technological innovation in truck maintenance and service.

The center was established by Euro Truck LLC, the official and exclusive representative of MAN Truck & Bus in Armenia since 2007.

MAN Truck & Bus, a member of the Traton Group, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles. According to Euro Truck LLC Director Narek Sargsyan, the opening of the new center was driven by increasing market demand:

“In recent years, we have seen a steady rise in demand for trucks and buses in Armenia and across the region. This growth is linked to economic development and the expansion of cargo transportation volumes. These factors played a decisive role in our decision to expand operations and invest in a modern, high-tech service center.” 

Built with an investment of 4 million euros, the new center was designed in full compliance with German and international standards, becoming not only a state-of-the-art technical complex but also a regional innovation hub.

The facility spans 13,000 square meters, including a 2,600-square-meter building area, and is equipped with cutting-edge machinery and tools imported from Germany, Italy, and other European countries.

According to Narek Sargsyan, the new center is designed to serve also local businesses and logistics companies, offering fast, high-quality, and efficient service:

“The new center aims to provide maximum support to local businesses and logistics operators. It is equipped with modern tools and advanced technology, enabling quick and high-quality service that reduces repair time while enhancing vehicle safety and operational efficiency.”

Armen Aslikyan, Spare Part and Warranty Manager, emphasized that the new service center is equipped with fully automated systems that ensure high precision, efficiency, and a safe working environment:

“Our new service center operates with advanced, automated systems that guarantee precise and efficient service. The centralized oil distribution system provides accurate lubrication and streamlined maintenance, minimizing human error. The smoke exhaust system ensures effective removal of emissions, maintaining clean air and stable indoor temperatures. The center is also equipped with systems for exhaust pipe diagnostics and repair, wheel alignment correction, tire vulcanization, and balancing. In addition, brake testing and bridge vibration analysis systems are installed, allowing for precise detection of defects in running parts and suspension systems.”

Also present at the opening ceremony was Mikael Lindner, Managing Director at MAN Middle East FZE, who emphasized that this investment marks an important step toward the region’s development.

“First of all, it is a great honor to be here today. This project has been in development for many years, realized through great dedication and effort, and it is truly gratifying to see it come to life. This service center represents an important milestone not only for Armenia but for the entire region. It will allow us to continue serving our customers and further expand our presence across the region,” said Mikael Lindner.

Narek Sargsyan also highlighted the advantage of the center’s strategic location:

“The new center is strategically situated along the North-South highway, offering exceptional convenience for carrying out repair and maintenance work for both local and transit trucks. In doing so, the center contributes to the growth of transit cargo transportation through Armenia and encourages greater involvement of international logistics companies.”

In line with the company’s values, the new service center was designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind – the first floor is fully adapted for people with disabilities. A team of 35 skilled specialists currently provides service at the center, and the company plans to expand its staff in the near future in response to the increasing volume of services.

During the opening ceremony, long-time partners and employees were specially recognized in a festive atmosphere. Narek Sargsyan emphasized the importance of human connections and the value-driven culture that defines the company’s team:

“We have built a warm, harmonious, and values-based working environment. The best proof of this is that several generations of the same family work with us.”

At his suggestion, two of Euro Truck’s most trusted families, those of Senik Galstyan and Simon Grigoryan, were invited to the stage. Members of both families hold various positions within the company, ranging from drivers and accountants to chief mechanics.

The name of the company’s senior partner, Tigran Vardanyan, who at 92 years old continues to contribute his dedication and professional expertise, was also honored on stage.

With the launch of the new center, Armenia positions itself as a regional truck service hub for CIS countries, enhancing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of MAN truck operations across the region.

In 2024, Euro Truck LLC was included among the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia, ranking 831st, reflecting the company’s stable growth, transparency, and significant economic contribution.
