Ameria consulting company conducted a research on the tourism and hospitality sector of Armenia aimed at assessing its current state and revealing the growth dynamics.The research includes an analysis of Armenia's macro-economic state, volumes of turnover of Armenia's hospitality sector, comparative analysis of average annual prices for hotel rooms occupancy of various hotels of Armenia and South Caucasus etc. The research showed that over the past 7 years, number of hotels in Armenia grew 2-fold, but the number of person/ places increased only 1.4-fold as the number of small hotels increased in the country.“We conducted a research based on the data provided by Colliers International, HVS Global Hospitality Services, Richard Cancellor and other companies and international organizations as well as based on the information provided by the Armenian National Statistical Service. The research isn't not only the analysis of the situation but it also gives expert assessments on Armenian hospitality sector”, said Senior Specialist at Ameria CJSC Arman Porsughyan.
