Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Plant topped the list of Armenia’s largest taxpayers of 2011.The company paid taxes at the amount of AMD 29bln 778mln 161.9 thousand in 2011, Mediamax reports.“ArmRosGazprom” (AMD 21bln 799mln 881.6 thousand) and “K-Telecom” (VivaCell-MTS trademark, AMD 17bln 751mln 611.9 thousand) ranked the second and third on the list of the largest taxpayers respectively.The list of the top 10 largest taxpayers also includes: “Alex Grig” (AMD 17bln 715mln 826.2 thousand), “ArmenTel” (Beeline brand, AMD 12 bln 594mln 586.5thousand), “City Petrol Group” (AMD 10bln 507mln 804.5thousand), “Flesh” (AMD 10bln 398mln 701.8thousand), Armenian Electric Networks (AMD9bln 647mln 704.3thousand), “Phillip-Morris Armenia” (AMD 6bln 348mln 895.9 thousand) and “Armenia International Airports” (AMD 5bln 922mln 509.5 thousand).The volume of taxes paid by top 10 largest taxpayers in 2011 exceeded the index of 2010 by 20.5% (AMD 24.3bln) having made AMD 142.46bln. The same index of 1000 largest taxpayers (AMD 483.5bln) exceeded the index of 2010 by 11.7% (AMD 50.7bln).In 2011, Armenian Electric Networks (AMD 2bln 421mln 367.4thousand), “ArmRosGazprom” (AMD 1bln 660mln 887.8thosuand) and “ArmenTel” took leading positions on the list in terms of compulsory social security contributions.By the number of employees, the list is topped by Armenian Electric Networks (7464), “ArmRosGazprom” and South Caucasus Railways (SCR).
