Yerevan/Mediamax/.A new branch of ACBA-CREDIR AGRICOLE BANK, the bank’s 42nd branch in Armenia and 7th in Yerevan, opened in Yerevan Piazza Grande business center next to the Republic Square today. According to the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Stepan Gishyan, the branch will provide all the banking services and meet all the European standards by its equipment availability.“Our goal is to service the customers as it is done in Paris, Zurich and New York”, said Stepan Gishyan adding that the bank will embark on re-equipping other branches as well to prevent queues. Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan who was present at the opening of the branch said that the bank’s new branch comes to prove the stability of Armenia’s financial system and appropriateness of the investments made in Armenia.“By joining Credit Agricole group in 2006, the bank managed to diversify its credit portfolio retaining the lead in the sphere of agriculture lending at the same time”, noted Artur Javadyan.
