Yerevan/Mediamax/. Ameriabank substantially increased the number of service cards making it up to 22 606. As of July 31, the growth of the cards number made 58.6% as compared to early 2011.

The bank actively makes large investments to expand the automatic teller machine (ATM) chain. The bank\'s 59 ATMs, servicing ArCa, VISA, VISA Electron and MasterCard payment cards, are currently placed in Yerevan, 15 are placed in marzes and 2- in the NKR.

As of July 31, the total volume of the cash transactions made with Ameriabank\'s cards in terms of money increased by 59.9% against the same period of 2010, and the number of the transactions almost doubled having increased by 92.5%.

From the early 2011, the volume of cash and non-cash transactions made with the bank’s cards amounts to over AMD 26bln, and non-cash transactions make 25.4 % of it.

The bank takes up active steps towards placing POS terminals on trade and service locations as well. Now the number of the bank’s POS terminals makes 474 having increased by nearly 146% as compared to early 2011.

Ameriabank increased the number of trade and service locations, providing discounts through its cards, up to 200, and the discount rate– up to 40%.
