Yerevan/Mediamax/. Inflation in July 2011 made 6,3% against the same period of last year.

Head of the Price Statistics and International Comparisons Division of the Armenian National Statistical Service, Gurgen Martirosian, said today that the growth of prices for bread products made 16,6%, for dairy products- 20,5%, for hen eggs- 46,6% and granulated sugar- 18,8%, Mediamax reports.

Vegetables, particularly potatoes, fell in price by 16,5%.

In July 2011, 3% deflation was registered on the consumer market as compared to June. 34,9% and 23,3% deflation was registered on the vegetable and fruit markets correspondingly.
