Yerevan/Mediamax/. Consolidation of AMD in correlation to USD is conditioned both by the expectations of the possible default in the USA and by the internal economic factors of Armenia, Deputy Executive Director of ARARATBANK David Harutyunyan told Mediamax today.

According to him, internal factors of AMD revaluation represent mainly temporary discrepancies between the demand for the currency and its offer.

“I believe that in the nearest months the AMD will be stable: no abrupt fluctuations are predicted either in the direction of consolidation or devaluation”, David Harutyunyan said.
