Yerevan/Mediamax/. Fourth issue of ARARATBANK coupon bonds with the volume of AMD 250mln (USD670 thousand) was listed today on Bbond platform of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Stock Exchange.

Mediamax informs that the nominal value of one bond is AMD 10 thousand, circulation term – 2 years, annual coupon yield - 12%.

The coupons will be paid out every quarter. The bank intends to direct the means, attracted from placement, to micro-financing.

Deputy Executive Director of the Bank David Harutyunyan said today that 191 investors (11 legal entities and 180 individuals) took part in the placement of the bonds, which lasted from June 20 to July 11. At that the demand for the bonds exceeded the offer by 25%.

According to the Acting CEO of the Stock Exchange Karen Zakaryan, by its example ARARATBANK refutes the opposite opinion that the current conditions in Armenia are not favorable for entering the capital market.

“There is always opportunity. One should simply use it correctly”, Karen Zakaryan said.
