Yerevan/Mediamax/. In 2010, turnover of UNISTREAM money transfer system in Armenia increased by 8.5%, making USD 597mln. Mediamax was informed in the press service of “Unistream” OJSC that last year 748 thousand transfers were realized (growth – 5.6%) and the average volume of a transfer increased from USD 771 to USD 798 in a year. According to the assessment of UNISTREAM President Suren Hayriyan, the growth of operational activity in Armenia is related to introduction of optimal tariffs, functions of transfers with no specific address, when the customer can receive the money in any UNISTREAM point, as well as to development of a unified customer card program in the country. Today, over 70% of transfers to Armenia are realized with the use of the unified customer cards, which contain necessary information about the customer and his/her potential recipients.
