Yerevan/Mediamax/. In 2011, “Areximbank–Gazprombank Group” plans to introduce a few new card projects.

Among them are: issue of ArCa cards, payment for utility services from the card account with the help of cell phones, 24-hour money transfers between Russia and Armenia by means of plastic cards of “Areximbank” and Russian “Gazprombank”.

In 12 months, 2010, the number of payment cards, issued by “Areximbank-Gazprombank Group”, increased by 30.6%, up to 75.315.

The volume of operations with the use of bank’s cards in 12 months increased by 45.75%.

As of December 31, 2010, the number of bank’s cash machines made 44, POS-terminals – 128.
