Yerevan/Mediamax/. Iran is ready to recognize diplomas issued by three Armenian Universities: Yerevan State University, Medical State University and State Engineering University.

Mediamax reports that the Minister of Science and Education of Armenia Armen Ashotyan said this in Yerevan today.

Presenting the results of his working visit to Tehran, Armenian Minister informed that Iran demonstrated corresponding political will and before the start of the new academic year, the Deputy Minister of Science and Technologies of Iran will arrive in Yerevan. He intends to discussion issues of education and discipline in Armenian higher educational institutions.

According to Armen Ashotyan, signing of Armenian-Iranian cooperation program in the sphere of higher education and science is also expected to take place. Iran presented 10 scholarships in its higher educational institutions for Armenian Master and Postgraduate students in Iranian Studies, Eastern Studies and Islamic Studies. At the same time, Armenian Studies educational centers will be set up in Iran, Armenian Minister stated.
